Thad BingelThad Bingel is a Command Group Founding Partner and an expert in border management, public safety, and port and maritime issues. Mr. Bingel manages and oversees operations throughout the Command Group. Most recently in government, Mr. Bingel was Chief of Staff at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). In this capacity, he was the second ranking political appointee at CBP serving as part of the executive leadership team and as a principal advisor to Commissioner W. Ralph Basham. Mr. Bingel worked with CBP leadership in the day-to-day operations and management of the agency and was responsible for the agency's interactions with the White House, DHS headquarters, Congress, state and local governments, and the press. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bingel served as Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Congressional Affairs at CBP and as Majority Counsel with the U.S. House Judiciary Committee in Congress.
