Mickey M. Nelson
Mr. Mickey M. Nelson is a Command Group Partner and an expert on the subjects of protective security, contingency and emergency planning for senior officials and executives, and special operations. Mr. Nelson is a 28-year veteran of the United States Secret Service (USSS), where he spent the majority of his career in operational and management roles in the USSS protective division. Previously, Mr. Nelson served as Assistant Director of the Secret Service in the Office of Protective Operations, where he was directly responsible for overseeing the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and Dignitary Protective Divisions. He also developed standard operating procedures for protective methodology for the principals under the USSS’s protection and managed security planning for major events of national importance, including all National Special Security Events (NSSE). Mr. Nelson uses his unique blend of tactical, operational, and strategic security and safety expertise to help clients worldwide develop cost-effective, custom safety and security plans.
