D. Brian PetermanVice Admiral Brian Peterman, U.S. Coast Guard (retired) is the President and CEO of CASI. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 36 years in assignments that included command of ships, international training, maritime law enforcement, and military operations. In addition to his military service, he served on the White House staff twice: first on the National Security Council staff and then as the Special Assistant to the President for Border and Transportation Security starting in 2001. His last assignment was the Commander, Coast Guard Atlantic Area where he had operational oversight of all Coast Guard assets from the Rocky Mountains in the United States to forces assigned in the Arabian Gulf. Following his retirement, he formed CASI and serves as the project manager for all refit and new build projects. Admiral Peterman has written extensively and provided numerous presentations about yacht security at events around the globe.
