Former Senior Department of Homeland Security and Utah Department of Public Security Official Earl Morris Joins Command Consulting Group as Managing Director of Miami Operation

CORAL GABLES, FL – International security advisory firm Command Consulting Group (CCG) announced today the appointment of Earl Morris, former senior official with the Utah Department of Public Safety and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), as the new Managing Director of the firm’s Miami office, located in Coral Gables.

“Earl Morris is a recognized leader in the fields of transportation, aviation security and operations” said Ralph Basham, Founding Partner of Command Consulting Group and former Chief of Staff at TSA. “We are thrilled that he has joined the Command Consulting Group team and we know that our clients will benefit from his experience in international security.”

Most recently, Morris served as the Federal Security Director and Deputy Assistant Administrator for TSA in Salt Lake City. Prior to TSA, Morris was the Deputy Commissioner for the Utah Department of Public Safety where he led local law enforcement and security planning and operations for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City and oversaw the Department of Public Safety, the Utah Highway Patrol, the Utah Division of Criminal Investigation and the Utah Police Officer Standards and Training.
