House of Representatives Logo Former Managing Director of Command Consulting Group's Miami office, Paul D. Irving, was officially sworn in as the 36th Sergeant at Arms of the U.S. House of Representatives by unanimous consent on January 17, 2012 (112th Congress, Second Session). The Oath of Office was administered by the Speaker of the House.

In Paul Irving, the House has elected a first-rate law enforcement officer to serve as Sergeant at Arms. I’m grateful to Paul for agreeing to serve the House, and have every confidence in him and his team.
